Privacy Policy
Effective: validation period · last reviewed June 2026
The short version
Cinemus is in a public validation phase. We don't require accounts and we don't collect personal data. No cookies are set. No registration is open. The site works fully as read-only.
What we collect
- Anonymous demand signals — counts of clicks on certain UI elements, plus the TMDB ID of the title being viewed. No identifiers, no IP, no user-id are stored.
- Optional cookieless web analytics (Umami / Plausible) — aggregate traffic counters. No cookies, no cross-session tracking, no fingerprinting.
- Server access logs— standard HTTP logs at our hosting provider. We do not store these in our own systems beyond the provider's default retention.
What we do not collect
- Email addresses, names, or any other contact details.
- Passwords. We don't support sign-up in this phase.
- Persistent user identifiers (no UIDs, no device IDs, no cookies).
- Information for targeted advertising.
How «Notify me when launched» works
If you click the launch-notification button, you are redirected to a Telegram channel or bot operated by us. The Telegram service holds your identifier — we do not see your email. Joining is voluntary.
Third parties
- TMDB (themoviedb.org) — film and series metadata, posters served from
image.tmdb.org. Subject to TMDB's own terms. - Hosting provider — operates standard infrastructure. Subject to its privacy terms.
- Analytics provider (when enabled) — Umami / Plausible, cookieless.
What changes when accounts open
When registration opens, we will collect the minimum required to identify an account (Google account identifier). Real email is stored only when functionally required. A separate version of this policy will reflect that scope before any user signs in.
Your rights
Because no personal data is stored about you in this phase, there is nothing to access, rectify, port, or erase. For any concerns, see the contact below.
